This vinyl LP record features the original movie soundtrack for "The Rose" starring Bette Midler. Released by Atlantic Records, the album combines elements of psychedelic rock, film score/soundtrack, and pop rock in a 12" vinyl format. With a run time of an LP, the record is in very good plus (VG+) condition, and comes in a very good (VG) sleeve with the original cover. Bette Midler's iconic voice and the nostalgic appeal of this soundtrack make it a must-have for any music collector or fan of classic rock and pop music.

~PLEASE NOTE, I play test EVERY vinyl record I sell. If there are any jumps or skips, I do not sell them. This record was cleaned using ultrasonic cleaner (20 minutes at 28°), and an antistatic bush before testing. Please ensure your needle weight is not set too low, I have mine set to 1.8g of weight. I find that on some records it may need to be increased (up to 2.5g) to avoid age related skips. If the needle is too light, it may skip or sound distort; if it is too heavy, it can cause premature wear on your vinyl. Consult your cartridge instructions if in doubt. Please ensure you have used an antistatic brush on the record before you play it too.
My RECORD GRADING is primarily based on the Goldmine Grading Standard, which evaluates both visual condition and audio quality. Here is the standard progression from perfect to unplayable :
Mint (M): Absolutely perfect in every way. The record is likely unplayed, often still factory-sealed, and the sleeve has no defects. Near Mint (NM or M-): Nearly perfect. The vinyl looks glossy and may have been played once or twice, but it should have no visible marks or audible defects. The sleeve is essentially flawless with no creases or splits. Excellent (E / EX): Often used in the UK, this falls between NM and VG+. It shows very light signs of use—such as a couple of faint surface marks—but sound quality remains high with minimal noise. Very Good Plus (VG+): Shows signs of handling by a careful owner. It may have light surface scuffs or "paper marks" that do not affect the listening experience. The sleeve might show minor edge wear or a small "cut-out" hole. Very Good (VG): Noticeable wear is present. Surface noise (clicks or pops) will be evident, especially during quiet passages, but it won't overpower the music. The sleeve may have ring wear, tape residue, or minor seam splits. Good (G) / Good Plus (G+): The record will play through without skipping but has significant surface noise and visible groove wear. The cover is heavily worn with prominent seam splits and writing. Fair (F) / Poor (P): These are the lowest grades. The record is likely cracked, badly warped, or has deep scratches that cause it to skip or repeat. The sleeve is often torn, water-damaged, or incomplete.
