Disconnect the power supply Before starting the installation, make sure you have disconnected the negative terminal of the vehicle's battery to prevent unintended passage of current and avoid the risk of electric shock or short circuit. 2. Clean the installation location Before installing a new ignition coil, clean the ignition coil holder and the area around it to ensure that there is no dust, oil or other contaminants that could affect the contact quality. 3. Check the spark plug Check the condition of the spark plugs before installing a new ignition coil. If the spark plugs are worn or have reached their replacement cycle, it is recommended that they be replaced at the same time to ensure optimum performance of the ignition system. When Installing: 4. Correct torque When installing the ignition coil, it is important to use the correct torque to hold it in place. Over-tightening may damage the ignition coil or mount, while over-loosening may result in poor contact or looseness. 5. A: Special bulb holder may be required. See if you can take the holder from the stock bulb. If not, let us know.
The bulb size may be wrong, double check the item you received with the item you ordered.
Do you have an aftermarket lighting housing?
These may not be perfectly fitted for aftermarket bulbs and will require some manual modifications.
Q4: Neither side lighting up? Both sides flicker, hyper flash, or work inconsistantly.
A:Check the light fuses, and then check the ballast plugs to insure correct installation.
If this doesn't work, there may be a voltage problem with the vehicle.
You probably just need a relay or capacitor. Even though some bulbs are builtin resistors, they may still need a decoder.
