We are happy to offer for your consideration A solid brass metal from the 1800s. It measures 1 ½” inches in height and has a wonderful picture of Mary on one side and a place for engraving on the backside. This metal was made for the induction into the congregation of the children of Mary in France.. It is made of solid brass and is very thick and heavy. It’s a wonderful historic piece.

Metals like this were used in France to hang near cribs and babies rooms or above their bassinet. They were called crib of meds. They were also used as souvenirs of visits to holy sites throughout France.
