  • This Divided Back postcard shows an image of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Mobile Alabama.
  • Erected on Conti street in 1835  and remains the seat of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Mobile.
  • Architecturally it is done in Greek Revival design and has two towers at the front corners, each one topped with a cross.  The entrance has the light colored columns.

    CONDITIONUsed with writing, stamp and postmark. There are a couple pin holes at the very top center. The postcard has darkened or yellowed with age.  The corner points are a bit dull.
