Renowned BRAMAH London Antique Leather & Velvet Jewellery Box in Excellent Original Condition. Late Edwardian, early Victorian.
In its original condition this stunning antique leather, wooden, velvet jewellery box will make a stunning addition to any setting and very much a collectors piece.
The leather lid has the initials C.A.R. In the bottom right hand corner of the lid.
It is made of wood, and is in solid condition. The wood is covered in a dark leather, again in good condition. There are a couple of bits of damage to the leather, commensurate with age. The interior is in original beautiful amber coloured velvet with dark leather finishings all in excellent condition. The lid has tiny detailed brass hinges and lifts and closes smoothly. All the fittings are solid brass, including the lock, without its key.
Once you lift the lid, you will see the top drawer compartments, lift out the top drawer to see the next level which again lifts out, then a bottom level of velvet storage beneath.
