I’m selling this on behalf of a friend. I recommended it to my friend, as I have had the same filter for years which has served me so well. My friend is dealing with a mold situation at home (they have separate dehumidifier too) This filter was unsuitable for them - because they have severe MCAS and chemical sensitivity, and the scent of the coating on the filter cartridge made them very unwell.
This is the filter cartridge that came included, and is still inside the casing. The chemical coating is made explicit on the instructions, and the details included in the attached images.
I also have MCAS, though much less severe than my friend. I bought a Coway replacement filter for my Airmega about a month ago, and have had no noticeable odour.
The cost is the RRP, minus the cost of a brand new filter cartridge (£50) It isn’t under warranty - and there are no returns.
