🚲 Bicycle Compatibility
This kit is designed for modern MTB-style bicycles with a traditional slotted rear dropout.
- Suitable for slotted rear dropout widths from approximately 135mm to 145mm
- Designed for many modern MTB-style bicycle frames
- Compatible with standard slotted rear dropouts
- Not suitable for through-axle frames
- Not suitable for Boost or Super Boost through-axle systems
- Disc-brake compatible only
- Not compatible with rim brakes
Your bicycle must have a traditional slotted rear dropout measuring approximately 135mm to 145mm. This kit will not support a through-axle frame.
The supplied motor wheel is designed for use with disc brakes only. The all-black MTX rim does not have a rim-braking surface and is not compatible with rim brakes.
If you are unsure, please send us clear photographs of your rear dropout, brake system and bottom bracket before ordering.

The hub motor is professionally built into a strong, durable, double-wall all-black aluminium MTX rim.

Please select the correct wheel size from the available listing options and confirm that your bicycle has sufficient frame and fork clearance for your chosen tyre width.

This kit uses a strong M12 axle with an HG-style cassette hub body.
- Compatible with 1-speed to 11-speed HG-style cassettes

- This is a cassette hub body and not a screw-on freewheel system
Your original compatible HG-style cassette can be removed from your bicycle wheel and installed onto the new hub motor wheel using the supplied tools.

🚴 Pedal-Assist System
The supplied pedal-assist sensor and magnet ring are designed for installation with a traditional square-taper bottom bracket.

The included pedal-assist sensor is designed for a square-taper bottom bracket. Bicycles fitted with Hollowtech, external-bearing or other bottom bracket systems may require a different pedal-assist sensor or additional modification.

The kit is supplied with two stainless-steel torque arms to provide a strong, secure and more universal installation across different bicycle frames.

Correct positioning and adjustment of the magnets and sensors are required during installation.
🇬🇧 250W Display Limiter Function
The SW900 display includes a built-in 250W speed-limiter function designed to HELP support compliance with UK bicycle regulations when configured and used correctly.
When the limiter is correctly activated and configured:
- Pedal assistance can be limited to 15.5mph / 25km/h
- The controller can operate using the 250W limiter function
- The system is limited to HELP support UK compliance requirements
The speed restriction is controlled through the SW900 display settings. Please refer to the supplied instructions for the recommended display settings and limiter configuration.
The purchaser is responsible for ensuring the bicycle is configured and used in accordance with all applicable UK laws and regulations.

Its downtube design provides a clean and practical fit for many bicycle frames. The battery can also be removed for charging, security or storage.
Purchasing the battery alongside the conversion kit provides matching connections for a completely plug-and-play electrical system.
