Condition would have been described as EXCELLENT but these suffer from the rubber coating on the rear degrading with time, so this has been carefully and completely removed back to the base plastic, it's now lovely to handle and not sticky in any way. I have been as careful as I could, to leave the printed wording inside the Control Back

As is usual, it's missing the remote socket plastic cover.

The Nikon MF-26 is fully functional having been thoroughly tested; it allows the Photographer to do some simply amazing stuff with the camera, and is operated through the cameras top rear dial.(There are instructions available online, their detailed... so great if you suffer from insomnia or have a long train journey planned!)

Film has been run through to confirm Loading/Rewind and Counter with Reset back to 0 are working.
Lens tested to confirm aperture tab and electrical communication is working correctly.
All camera Program modes A/P/S/M and Sub menu options are working correctly.
Everything such as Timer, Flash options, Exposure, etc are all fully operational.
Film compartment is light tight and the seals are in excellent condition.
The all important lens mount 'aperture tab' is springing back correctly.
All Shutter speeds are accurate from 8000secs down to 30secs and B.
The Battery grip MB-10 is in full working order with clean battery tray.
LCD Backlight is working and all icons and pixels are fully functional.
Viewfinder led information screen is perfect and working correctly.
AF is quick and accurate with confirmation within viewfinder.
Neck strap is in excellent condition and has been sterilized.
Flash Hot Shoe and flash options tested and working.
Viewfinder, Mirror and Focus screen are unmarked.
Optional 'Focus Tracking' is operating correctly.
Battery compartment is spotless.
Viewfinder dark shutter working.
Light Meter fully functional.
Mirror buffer perfect.

*I am not able to test the PC sync or remote control sockets.

I am very fussy with my own equipment, so when it comes to selling, I take the time to deep clean and check 'EVERY' function prior to listing. My items may not be the cheapest, but I like to think they are among the best available, and something I would be confident to give as a present, and pleased to receive and use myself.

As much as I would love to use 'cheap couriers', it's proven to be unreliable in the past, plus these companies do not insure lenses & cameras against loss/damage in transit.
I only send with Royal Mail 48hr Tracked Service, so it's guaranteed to arrive safely & in good time.

I post out every other day so please allow a little extra time for it to be delivered.

Postage is through 'ebay's global postage' at ebay's set prices.
Once purchased, I post the item to ebay's central UK shipping centre, where the parcel is re addressed and forwarded to the buyer, any Import tax will be shown on the buyers ebay page and will need to be paid by the buyer.

EQUIPMENT CHECKS
Cameras are given a full health check, and a deep clean. 
 
Every function of the camera is tested in accordance with the instruction manual for the model.
Some examples of areas checked are: the Body condition/Programme Modes/ASA settings/Winder operation/Film tensioner plate and Light seals/Shutter curtain/Shutter speeds/Shutter box compartment/Film compartment light fastness/Battery compartment/Light Meter/Self Timer/Flash Synchro & Hot Shoe/Viewfinder clarity/Viewfinder information if applicable/Prism condition/Focus screen/Mirror condition/ASA-DIN operation and so on.

Work carried out, and any issues found, will be described in the 'CONDITION' section above. 

As the majority of older cameras will have degraded light seals which will allow stray light in to spoil the film, I replace them all as standard (I prefer not to use the flimsy ready made ones that are available, so hand cut my own quality replacements). Camera internals are also checked cleaned and lubricated, and optics will be cleaned internally as required.

If I have the correct film available, this will be run through the camera to ensure that the loading, advance, film counter and removal mechanisms are working correctly.

CONDITION MEANINGS:

Mint
Would have to be as new.

Excellent
Shows no signs of wear to the body, all functions have been tested and are working correctly.

Very Good
Body shows only slight signs of use, such as mild rub marks on chassis paint or faint cleaning marks, all tested and working.

 Good
All functions tested and working but the body has some age related scuffs and wear marks, or the mechanical operation may be slightly stiff/loose, but is still totally usable.

Average/Fair
Bodily it's a bit worn, scuffed and knocked about, while it may not look its best, it is still useable.

Display
Cosmetically good but not working for the reasons stated.

Spares/Repair
Not working for the reasons stated. Ideal if you can repair or wish to use for parts.

Untested
Means condition is as the pictures show as I have not examined it. Best bought assuming it's NOT working, as then we'll both be pleasantly surprised if it does.
