Welcome to our Ebay shop - Surrey Hills Designs Limited. Surrey Hills Designs is a family business that was born in Surrey in England in 2014. We became a Limited Company in 2016.

Our focus is to create a welcoming place where you can shop for beautiful, elegant and in some cases unusual gifts and home accessories. It is our endeavor to provide you with excellent customer service.

We work with a small number of suppliers in the UK and Europe and our aim is to provide you with good quality items at a reasonable cost.

We take customer service seriously. If you have a problem with your order or if you think we can improve anything, please let us know. Please give us a chance to resolve any issues that you may have before leaving neutral or negative feedback. We will always do our best to solve any issue that you may have.

Shipping

We deliver all items using a tracked service within the UK. Estimated delivery times can be seen on the detail page of each item. Please see item listing for dispatch times as these will vary depending on the item purchased.

Smaller items are delivered by Royal Mail Tracked 48. This should arrive within 2-3 working days for delivery within the UK. Items may arrive slightly later near Christmas and after bank holidays. We also offer an expedited next day delivery for a small extra charge.

Larger and heavier items are sent via courier and will arrive within 1-2 days. You will be advised when your item leaves us, and it will be delivered and fully trackable to a UK address. A signature may be required. If your mobile number is provided the courier will send a text with your delivery window. You will usually have the option to change the delivery date, location or offer a safe place where the item can be left. Instructions to do this will be given on the text.

Click and collect for delivery to an Argos store is also available and the above shipping times apply.

We also deliver most items to countries within Europe. Postage costs and shipping times are available on the item or can be requested if you send us a message via Ebay.

If you require an item to be delivered outside of Europe please contact us for the postage costs.

Returns

We hope that you love your item, but should you wish to return it for any reason, you have the right to cancel and return your item within 30 working days of receipt.

CHANGE OF MIND/UNSUITABLE/UNWANTED/DON’T LIKE

You have 14 working days from receipt of the item (the delivery day) to notify us that you wish to return the item. It must be returned to us within 14 working days of our acceptance acknowledgement. All goods are the purchasers responsibility until they are safely received by us in their original condition. You will be responsible for the return delivery costs and for the safety of the item until we receive it. We therefore advise you to package the item securely for safe transit and to use an insured service for the return.

We do not refund return postage costs, but will provide a full refund of the original purchase.

When a refund is required then we require you to use the eBay resolution centre to process the return and refund. The 'Return this item' link is displayed on the View Item page and in My eBay ('Won' view).

DAMAGED/FAULTY ITEMS

Should you receive a damaged or faulty item, we will offer you a replacement. Please contact us via Ebay messaging or telephone within 14 working days of receipt in order that we can provide assistance. We understand that it can be a nuisance to return damaged or faulty items so we ask customers to provide photographic evidence of the damaged or faulty items to avoid this. When an item has arrived broken we will also need a photo of the packaging so we can make a claim to the courier. If we decide that a damaged or faulty item needs to be returned to us, we will provide you with a prepaid returns label.
