A superb Original Microsoft Xbox Crystal console bundle with an upgraded 160GB Seagate Barracuda internal hard drive, custom LED lighting, two controllers, AV to HDMI adapter and 5 physical Original Xbox games/discs.

This is a very eye-catching Crystal Xbox build. The clear shell looks fantastic when powered on, with custom blue LED lighting behind/inside the controller ports and custom red/blue front panel lighting around the power/eject area. It is ideal for anyone looking for a striking Crystal Original Xbox with strong display appeal. 🎮💎

The console has been fully stripped down, cleaned, rebuilt and tested. The Crystal shell was dismantled, washed, dried and reassembled. The shell was also treated with 303 UV protectant after cleaning. The motherboard and PSU areas were carefully cleaned where accessible using isopropyl alcohol. Overall, the console presents beautifully and the internals are very clean.

Please note: the AV to HDMI adapter is a basic adapter, not an expensive scaler. It is included so the buyer can get playing on a modern TV or monitor more easily. You will still need a USB power plug for the adapter and an HDMI cable to connect to your TV/monitor, both of which are not included.

The sale is for the physical console, controllers, cables/accessories and the 5 physical games/discs listed below. No digital games are included.

🧪 Testing:

The console has been tested and is working well. It powers on correctly and has been tested loading a physical game disc.

The DVD drive has been tested reading discs. The DVD drive is a Philips VAD6035/21, dated August 2004, and the laser was gently cleaned during inspection.

The AV to HDMI adapter has been opened and tested by me before listing, even though it is new, just to make sure it works properly with the console.

The 5 physical games/discs have been tested to initial gameplay / first level only and are not tested through to completion. No guarantee can be given beyond this level of testing. As with any used disc-based games of this age, discs may benefit from further cleaning and/or resurfacing if the buyer wishes, but all included physical games have worked during my testing as described.

💡 Custom LED features:

The custom LEDs are working and look excellent through the Crystal shell. The blue controller-port lighting and red/blue front panel lighting make this a really striking console when powered on.

📀 Condition:

The Crystal shell presents in superb condition overall. I cannot see any cracks or major imperfections to the outer shell, although as with any used Crystal Xbox there may be the odd light mark or small scratch that I have not noticed. Overall, it looks amazing and displays beautifully.

The internal metal RF shielding plates had some age-related rust/oxidation and have been removed as part of the custom clean build. This gives the console a much cleaner custom Crystal display look internally, especially through the clear shell. The console has been reassembled and tested working without them.

Important safety note: because the internal RF shielding plates have been removed, part of the PSU area is more exposed internally than it would be on a standard console. Fingers should not really fit through the side openings, but thin/long objects could potentially be inserted. Please do not poke anything into the console, especially around the PSU side, as this could be dangerous and could present a risk of electric shock. This is a vintage custom electrical item and should be treated with care.

The official Crystal Controller S has been cleaned, rebuilt and tested working. It has donor internal parts from an official black Xbox controller, but externally it remains the official Crystal Controller S shell. It works well. There is a tiny underlying/internal crack on one side of the handle area, but it cannot really be felt and does not affect the rigidity, solidity or function of the shell. Please see photos.

The MadCatz wireless Crystal Clear controller and matching receiver have been tested and connect/pair correctly. The controller has two switches on the bottom, one for power on/off and one for rumble on/off. Rumble has been tested and works, although only one rumble motor appears to activate but this may have been due to particular game i was testing. The controller is used, so please expect normal age-related wear and button/rumble feel may not be like a brand new unused controller.

The games, cases, manuals and covers are used. Some cases may have cracks, marks or damage/rips to the outer plastic sleeve. Manuals, where included, may not be perfect. Doom is included as a disc-only game. Please check all photos carefully as they form part of the description.
