The "MONSTER TUNA" is being offered for sale by a few companies on eBay most based in china who will ad VAT to your purchase.
Ours are already here in the UK VAT paid, so no ADD ON charges.
THE SPECS:- These weigh 1030g, just over a kilo, (that's a bit more than a bag of sugar) They are 15"/38cm in length & have a Phenomenal presents in the water.
We sell ours "WITHOUT" hooks so you can fit your own preferred make of big game hook should you with to do so.
The other sellers here on eBay supply these lures with a pair of 4/0 trebles & any lure angler who has ever caught a fish will know that 4/0 trebles on a lure this size would be totally useless !
If you want to catch on them they will need to be rigged with a 12/0 on the back & a minimum of a 14/0 on the belly to hook up.
But mostly they are just teasers & we run two at a time, one each side & fish lures in-between & outside further back & they work very well.
They seem to attract a lot of BONITO & we ran them for a while with a string of 3 Wrecking/cod feathers in place of the rear hook & have had a few nice BONITO on the feathers.
However they attract all sorts of predators, once we had a shole bass in the 6lb-7lb range come up from nowhere in 40' of water & we had 6 on the feathers in one hit.
On one occasion we had a Blue shark take a look & on another occasion we had a big bull seal come take a look, so now we just run them as teasers without hooks of any kind.
They look like a joke, something you give to you favourite charter boat skipper as funny Christmas present, but since we started dragging them around our BONITO & Small BLUEFIN catches have massively increased & as teasers go they are cheap !
POSTAGE:-Sorry about the postage but All items are now sent sign for, as it is amazing how many parcels "don't arrive" when sent by normal first class post, the dishonest always ruin things for the rest !
TWO OR MORE OF THESE WEIGH MORE THAN THE POST OFFICE MAXIMUM WEIGHT FOR A SMALL PARCEL. So if you want more than one put them in your basket & ask for revised postage or eBay will just keep wracking the postage.
