Like New Appears unread. Clean, tight copy with sharp corners and no noticeable flaws. Dust jacket (if present) crisp and bright.
Very Good Light signs of handling or shelf wear. May have minor rubbing, a small crease, or a name inside, but overall a clean, solid copy.
Good Noticeable wear but still a fully usable reading copy. May include creases, moderate edge wear, small stains, or limited writing/highlighting. Any major issues will be noted.
Acceptable Heavier wear with clear cosmetic flaws such as creasing, significant edge wear, heavier staining, or extensive writing/highlighting. Still complete and readable; major defects will be described.

Book shows visible age and handling wear, including toned pages, foxing, stains, rubbing to the cloth boards, edge wear, and corner wear. A solid collectible reading/display copy of an early American Dickens edition.
