Up now is this spectacular 2024 Phish Riviera Maya “Turtle Waves” screen print by acclaimed Australian artist Ken Taylor, created for Phish’s four-night destination run at the Moon Palace in Cancún, Mexico, from February 21–24, 2024.
Taylor transforms an enormous sea turtle into a lush tropical island, complete with a Mayan temple rising from its shell beneath a full moon and towering neon-green clouds. Beneath the surface, a second turtle glides through the electric blue water. It is a beautifully strange, dreamlike image that feels perfectly suited to Phish in Mexico. Ancient ruins, tropical wildlife, cosmic scenery, and a gigantic turtle carrying an entire ecosystem on its back. You know, normal Phish stuff.
This is the official First Edition, produced as a six-color screen print with vibrant neon-green inks. The First Edition was limited to 1,300 prints and was issued unsigned and unnumbered. This is not the separately released Artist Edition or foil variant.

About the Artist: Ken Taylor is an internationally celebrated illustrator and poster artist based in Melbourne, Australia. Known for his intricate linework, cinematic compositions, and masterful use of color, Taylor has created sought-after artwork for Phish, Metallica, Pearl Jam, The Rolling Stones, Queens of the Stone Age, and many others. “Turtle Waves” gives him an ideal playground for his strengths. Monumental wildlife, otherworldly landscapes, and enough meticulous detail to reward repeated inspection.
About the Event: Phish Riviera Maya 2024 brought the band back to the Moon Palace in Cancún for four performances and seven sets between February 21 and February 24. The run culminated with a daytime finale featuring a sprawling second set built around “The Howling,” “No Men in No Man’s Land,” “Ruby Waves,” “Golden Age,” “Twist,” and “A Life Beyond the Dream,” followed by an encore of “More,” “2001,” and “Slave to the Traffic Light.” We attended these shows, and they were electric. Four days of Phish beside the Caribbean is already wonderfully excessive. Ken Taylor adding a moonlit sea turtle the size of a small continent somehow makes perfect sense.
