Vintage Meito China Aristocrat Covered Vegetable Serving Bowl. Made in Japan. The backstamp says they are hand painted.
10 1/2 inches from handle to handle, 8 1/4 inches in diameter, 6 inches tall, and 2 pounds 2 ounces in weight.
