This is an 1833 Coronet Head Large Cent from the United States Mint. The obverse features Liberty wearing a coronet inscribed with "LIBERTY", surrounded by 13 stars representing the original colonies, with the date 1833 below. The reverse displays a wreath encircling the denomination "ONE CENT" with "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" around the rim. This copper coin was struck during the Coronet Head series, which ran from 1816 to 1839.

The coin shows the characteristic brown patina typical of early American copper coinage. The edge is plain, as standard for Large Cents of this era.
