I guarantee that all my Weta products are genuine, sourced directly from Weta Limited, and are not counterfeit or reproductions. I do not use brand names in titles for misleading purposes; all items are authentic and accurately described.

As an American seller committed to full disclosure, I welcome questions about my products. If any information I provide is later contradicted, customers may return items for appropriate compensation.

Unopened Shipping Container: This refers to the original packaging used for shipping, which remains sealed and intact prior to delivery. To ensure the safety of the contents during transit, the container is reinforced with high-quality, heavy-duty tape, addressing any potential structural weaknesses and maintaining the integrity of the package throughout its journey.

Shipping Conditions and Handling: Weta's products originate from New Zealand, a region known for its challenging shipping conditions. The shipping containers often endure various stresses, including tears, impacts, and abrasions, as they traverse multiple continents. Despite these challenges, Weta employs rigorous protective measures to safeguard the contents, ensuring that external damage to the container does not compromise the internal items.

Delivery and Inspection Protocol: All packages are considered unopened unless explicitly noted otherwise. Upon receipt, customers should thoroughly inspect the package for any visible damage. If there is evident damage to the outer container or the merchandise itself, it is advised not to proceed with assembly or further handling. Instead, immediate contact should be made with the seller to initiate appropriate reparation procedures, including potential claims or replacements.

A dwarf warrior of great renown among his people, Dwalin the Dwarf, son of Fundin, was proficient with arms of all kinds. But when laying blows swiftly and against many adversaries at close quarters, he liked nothing better than the two single-handed axes he wore crossed upon his back.

Named Ukhlat and Umraz, the short-hafted axes were simple in shape, wide in blade and heavy in head. Upon their broad faces their Khuzdul names were carved in runes.

Dwalin's Axes were created for the film by the artists at Weta Workshop. Incredibly tough, yet safer than sharpened steel blades, they have been finished to a standard that can confidently be displayed in 3D, high resolution, at 48 frames per second in the finished movie.

These prop replicas have been created from molds of the original weapons used in the film, using the same high impact urethane material as the props on set, and finished using the same techniques and materials.

We have chosen to present our collector's edition of Hobbit weapons in the same material used for the making of the film props, to exactly replicate the techniques and artistry used in the films. Richard Taylor - CEO & Co-founder, Weta Workshop

Dwalin's Axes are an Open Edition piece, and come with a reinforced polystone wall plaque for display, pride of place, on your wall.

Please Note - images are of a pre-production prototype. Each prop is painted by hand and slight variations will occur. Dimensions and weight are for each axe.

Weta Workshop’s authentic prop replicas are designed by the very same artists and technicians who work on our movies, using the same techniques and materials. We treat these prop replicas with the same level of care, quality and attention to detail that we bring to our film work.

Returns Policy: 

• Items must be unopened and returned in the condition it was received within 30 days of delivery to qualify for a refund.
• The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs, including insurance for items valued over $100.
• Opened items are ineligible for return unless specified otherwise. 

Shipping:

I charge the actual USPS postage rate. There are no add-on charges for handling and, etc.

Payment:

Payment is expected within 3 days of the end of auction date.

INFORMING OVERSEAS BUYERS ABOUT IMPORT CHARGES

•  When you sell to buyers outside the US, import fees (including taxes and customs charges) will apply for the country you're sending the item to.  

• The fees are usually based on the item's price, shipping weight, dimensions, and country of origin, plus any taxes, duties, and fees from the country you're sending the item to. 

Buyers are responsible for paying import fees, usually as part of clearing their parcel through customs or when they receive their item. If you offer international shipping, you CAN NOT include these costs in the item's purchase and shipping price. Make sure to let international buyers know this in your listings.
