The Blessings Expressions of Faith Doll Collection is a collection of nun dolls that were meticulously crafted in their solemn traditional habits. They were created to carry on, promote and honor the memories of our beloved Catholic nuns. Sadly, these dolls are NO longer in production.

This nun doll represents a Catholic religious belonging to the Sisters of St. Joseph also known as the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Joseph, abbreviated CSJ or SSJ. This congregation of religious sisters was founded in Le Puy-en-Velay, France, in 1650. Disbanded during the French Revolution, it was later reorganized by Mother St. John Fontbonne. This congregation, named for Saint Joseph, has approximately 14,000 members worldwide: about 7,000 in the United States; 2,000 in France; and are active in 50 other countries.

This Sister of St. Joseph doll is exquisitely detailed, historically accurate and authentically reproduced. From the elegant simplicity of her habit and her beautiful accessories, right down to the tips of her long and graceful fingers, this nun doll was painstakingly and perfectly crafted. The wedding ring on her right hand is a tender symbol of her marriage to Christ. Her long black diaphanous veil and black pleated habit; the white guimpe which covers her neck and shoulders, the silver profession crucifix, and the garment unseen under her habit were meticulously restored all the way down to the folds created in the daily care of the garment. The rosary wrapped around her waist is a replica of the order's habit rosary. She has expressive purple eyes, and her delightful face is exceptionally dignified and beautiful.

The doll was purchased in a collection of 25 Blessings Dolls, all in boxes.  Appears clean and nice.  We assume not displayed?  The box has some shelf wear.

Domestic shipping: I ship products using USPS & UPS. I do not charge a handling charge. Tracking or insurance is included in the shipping price. Local pickup available upon request. 

International shipping: I ship products using USPS. Please, be aware of your local customs office for details on how you can claim items if your package has been delayed longer than 15 days above normal delivery time. I do not charge a handling charge. Insurance is required on international purchases to ensure your item gets to you safely. Buyer is responsible for all taxes, duties, brokerage and customs fees. We do not know those charges throughout the world. 

Returns and Refunds: Return Policy - We are proud to offer returns within reason. I will accept returns, within 14 days of close of transaction within reason. Returns are based on buyer contact. Refund will be made in the same method as it was received by me. (meaning if you paid by Paypal - you will get a Paypal refund.) We do not sell on approval nor offer buyers remorse refunds- returns only if not as described.
