• Part of a matching childhood "dress-up" pair, this figurine represents a young girl wearing oversized clothes and an adult bonnet to imitate her mother, labeled with "MAMA" on the base. Companion figurines featuring a child labeled "GRANDMA", “GRANDPA” or "PAPA" were as frequently produced alongside it.
• Conta & Boehme, was a porcelain factory founded in Pößneck, Germany, which was highly active during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. This piece is circa 1900.
• Hand-painted glazed soft porcelain accented with soft pastel colors. Pieces of this type are classified as Victorian fairings or piano babies. Feature a mold number (18) stamped on the underside

This estate find is in good condition. However, it may have some scuffing, scratches, markings, dust, dirt, and other imperfections. It could use some more cleaning. See the photos for more details.
