Here is a collection of 1800s Civil War era forks for your consideration. the first is a 3 tine fork with a damaged wooden handle. The second is an all metal fork with 4 tines. the back of the handle looks like it has the markings of "A1". The last fork has 4 thin tines and a more narrow fork. In-between the metal fork and the handle is what looks like a band of thin silver, unmarked. The metal rod of the fork handle goes through the wooden hand and has a single primitive cap on the end to hold the wood in place.  Please check the photos.
