Honest sale of my 61-plate Land Rover Freelander 2 for £1950 or reasonable offer. I am selling this as a rolling project / spares or repairs purely due to a known issue with the rear differential.

Despite this fault, the car still runs, and drives absolutely fine (10k miles this year) operating in Front-Wheel Drive (FWD) only.

The Bad Bits (Full Transparency)

• Rear Differential: The rear diff requires attention/replacement. The 4x4 system is currently disabled, meaning the car is running in FWD only.

• MOT: The current MOT expires at the end of October.

• General Wear: As expected for a 61-plate vehicle with 129,000 miles, there are age-related marks and corrosion (please see photos) but still a clean and attractive car.

The Good Bits

• Drives well: Engine and gearbox are sound, and it still drives fine in its current FWD state.

• Mileage: 128,805 miles, which is very reasonable for a diesel engine of this age.

• V5, Some service history. Last FULL service was 06/05/2026, new brake pads on the back and wheel bearing replaced on the front.

• Last MOT (27/10/2025) passed first time with no advisories (document available)

• All tyres good, less than 6 months old on the rear, brand new spare.
