Previous keepers: 3. Originally a Motability vehicle, then the owner who carried out the conversion, then an owner who used her for part of a season before relocating to the USA, and now me. The V5C registration document is in my name.
SERVICE HISTORY
Service history as a Motability vehicle up to the end of 2021. Since then serviced in 2023, 2024 and most recently in 2026 - documented with paperwork.
MOT
MOT until May 2027; all advisories from the last test were fixed by the garage, with receipt. Mercedes lists an outstanding recall, but it's an emissions software update, not a safety matter - I checked with Mercedes directly and left it, as they couldn't identify any benefit for me. A dealer will do it free at any time.
A beautifully built, handcrafted conversion completed in 2023, set up for comfortable year-round use. The cabin is fully insulated, bright and airy, with windows all round giving an open feel rather than a boxed-in panel van. The rear side windows are insulated for privacy and warmth, while the front side windows are left clear so you can take in the view.
LIVING & COMFORT
Both front seats swivel round to face an expandable table - the natural spot for morning coffee or dinner - with the driver's seat electrically adjustable. Air conditioning front and rear, plus an Eberspacher diesel heater, keep her comfortable whatever the season. Two roof vents with electric fans and LED lighting throughout. Spacious storage cabinets and drawers in the kitchen, above the bed and over the front seats. A Porta Potti toilet sits in its own private enclosure - very handy in a pinch.

- 300Ah Fogstar Drift lithium leisure battery, with Bluetooth and an app to monitor charge status
- DC-DC charger (Euro 5/Euro 6 compatible) that charges the leisure battery from the alternator while driving, using a proper lithium charge profile, while keeping the starter battery isolated so the engine battery can't be drained (e.g. running the fridge overnight)
- 240v mains hookup with an onboard 3-stage charger - plug into a campsite hookup post to top up the leisure battery (tested and working)
- 2x 240v mains sockets (live on hookup) - one in the main cabin, one at the rear accessible via the rear doors
- 6 USB ports conveniently located throughout
- Extra-long electric hookup cable included
SECURITY
- Starline S9 alarm and immobiliser with 2 key fobs, plus an app location feature (needs GPS/GSM signal)
- Ignition protection cage (swapping the ignition is a common route of theft - this makes it extremely difficult)
- Optional when parked: a padlocked metal box for the foot pedals, plus a steering wheel Disklok (silver edition)
