Item up for bid is an amazing antique advertising booklet titled " What The Gypsy Prophesies For You " made in the late 19th century by the Kohler Manufacturing Company of Baltimore, MD. Booklet is designed for female readers to make a square of even numbers between 100 - 200 with instructions that she close her eyes and point her finger at a number and then find that number in the booklet to find her fortune. For male readers it is the same instructions except they are instructed to make a square of odd numbers between 100 - 200 

Front cover is marked with "  Dr. Kohler's Reliable Preparations " and specifically advertises their Kohler's Antidote For All Headaches, Kohler's Nerve Comfort, Kohler's One Night Corn Cure, Dr. Kohler's Medicated Skin and Complexion Soap and Kohler's Sarsaparilla Tea For The Blood. The Kohler Manufacturing Company operated in the late 19th century in Baltimore as a patent medicine company that sold a variety of quack cures. Many of their products contained narcotics., heavy sedatives and undisclosed substances which would be heavily regulated or even outright outlawed in today's marker. Their products were considered dangerous, potent and habit forming.  The company was known for their unique advertising which included making booklets such as this and others such as dream interpretation guides combing metaphysical themes and advertisement for their products.
