Part of the second phase of Shimano's Deore XT 27 era speed - M760
M760 and her hydraulic calipered sister group M765 were initially based purely around Dual Controls and Rapid Rise rear mechs. These 27 speed MTB groupsets were marketed as 'Mega9' or simply M9.
This one came on a new bike (in the early 2000s) but was replaced for a conventional mech before it got anywhere near the trails! It'll of only covered a few km's max.
Minor superficial cosmetic imperfections from 20+ years of storage. Nothing of any consequence IMO. (Please check out the photos.)
