Archangel Michael is depicted on the left holding a sword and a shield bearing a sun emblem, while Archangel Gabriel is on the right holding a botanical branch.
What makes this piece truly special is the handwritten blessing and dedication on the back, dating it exactly to June 15, 1990, originating from Peristeri (a municipality in Athens, Greece). The translated Greek text reads:
"May Christ, the Virgin Mary, and the Holy Archangels protect you from every evil and danger, may the path of your life always be in accordance with the Law of God and the Gospel.
A keepsake for Silia Vilara from the Kindergarten at the Old Taxiarchis in Peristeri. 15.6.1990."
It is signed by the Head Priest (Protopresbyter Seraphim Farsoglou) and the child's teacher, and features the official blue ink stamp of the Parish Church of Old Taxiarchis.
