Here I have an amazing fossil crab from the Island of Java in Indonesia. The species is Charybdis, it dates to the Miocene and is between 5 to 23 million years old. It was dug in Sukabumi regency, Java, Indonesia. These Crabs are the best value fossil crabs available for there size and their detail anywhere! In fossil shops these would be marked up at double my listed prices.

This beautiful EXTRA LARGE crab measures approx 17cm/ 170mm, elbow to elbow and weighs approx 552 grams! This crab has some great detail with FANTASTIC BIG claws and you can even see its little teeth! . Free standing for display, impressive huge crab at 50% of its retail value.
