This auction is for a pair of vintage signed E. Rambaud, French designer earrings from the 1980's.  These earrings have the large asymmetrical organic shape typical of French couture jewelry.  The finish is a bright gold-tone, with a hammered or molten look.  Each earring has an irregular red translucent resin or poured glass cabochon.  Edouard Rambaud was a French designer known for bold, sculptural costume jewelry during the 1980s and early 1990s. His work was sold through high-end boutiques and is often compared with designers such as Yves Saint Laurent and Robert Goossens creations.  There is a little color variation in the poured glass (or possibly resin) cabochons.  The "tooth" test tells me that they are glass (and the temperature), but they could be resin.  PLEASE NOTE:  Although all my jewelry listings will be marked that returns are not accepted (due to eBay's change of policy from 14 day returns to 30 days). If an item is damaged in shipment or there are any condition issues that I missed, please send me a note and a photograph.  No returns will be accepted without a photograph.   We will not accept returns because an item "does not fit" or because the buyer "changed their mind".   We only ship our jewelry in a box, so be sure to check out our other listings and our eBay store items (over 1950, all on sale).  Several pieces of jewelry will ship for the same price as one piece, or jewelry can ship with larger pieces at no extra cost.  We don’t mark up our items by a great amount, so reasonable offers only please. We do have a layaway plan available for items or groups of items totaling $200 or more. i am happy to ship to third party shippers for my international clients as well.   Great low starting bid, and being sold with NO RESERVE!
