 TIKL Pro Restore was developed for luthiers and restorers, with the recognition of the need for a safe and effective restorers’ cleaner of Violins, Violas, Cellos and Double Bases.

Restore is now starting to be widely used across the industry and is gaining considerable
notoriety. It is now being incorporated and cited within the courses of major
teaching organisations such as The Newark International School of Violin Making
and Repair and the Luthier’s Valse in Newark.

 Designed for the cleaning and restoring of wooden, bowed musical
instruments. It is water-based, non-flammable, has low environmental impact and
leaves no residues. Its powerful but gentle formula is designed for the removal
of aged dirt build up and dried rosin from varnished surfaces.

 It is widely known
in violin, viola, cello and double bass restoration that one of the most
important aspects is the initial cleaning of an instrument prior beginning restoration.
It is also known that this can be extraordinarily difficult and time consuming
when faced with centuries of hardened rosin and general grime built up from
years of playing.

being toxic and harmful to health as well, as being potentially damaging to instruments.
