This listing is for seven vintage dinner plates featuring a gold-encrusted rim and a colorful basket of fruit centerpiece. While all seven plates share the exact same fruit pattern and ornate gold rim, they were interestingly produced by several different renowned Bavarian manufacturers. The makers in this mixed set include four plates made by Hutschenreuther, one by Thomas - Bavaria, one by Selb - Bavaria, and one by Krautheim - Bavaria. According to Hutschenreuther, this is pattern HUT731.
This is a set of previously owned plates in fair-plus to good-minus condition. These are used plates and have various production flaws, so please be sure to review all photos. The overwhelming majority of the gold on all plates is intact, showing very little scuffing or wear. There is wear to the inside band and the central fruit design on several plates as shown, which includes normal utensil scuffing (with no gray marks).
Several plates have original manufacturing flaws, including chips on the front that have been glazed over with the gold, leaving a residual crack in that same area on the back side. One plate has a line of gold, identical to the rim gold, on the back rim area. In terms of post-production wear, one plate does have a chip on its base, but there are no other chips or cracks caused by daily use.
