WWII Imperial Japanese Navy officer sword belt with hanger straps.
This is an original Japanese Navy dress sword belt for carrying an officer’s sword / gunto. The belt has brass fittings with the naval emblem on the buckle.
Approximate waist size: 77–90 cm.
The leather shows scuffs, scratches, surface wear, and age-related marks, but overall it remains in good condition for its age. The brass fittings have tarnish, patina, and discoloration as shown.
The sword hanger straps are included. Please note that the auxiliary back strap for the hanger system appears to have been removed, and the hanger straps are attached directly to the main belt. Please check the photos carefully for the current configuration.
