This listing features a very interesting antique drafting instrument set consisting of 8 tools/items made of brass and steel.  The tools include compasses, dividers, pins, and other items.  The set is presented in a wooden case lined with velvet.  The case measures approximately 7" x 4" x 1" and has one closer/clasp with the other one missing.  The box has a great patina.  The bottom of the box has a surface crack which doesn't appear to affect the box function.

The manufacturer of this drafting set could not be found on the box or on any of the instruments.  The age is also uncertain, but I suspect it was made in the late 19th or early 20th century.
