This striking pair of Waterford Crystal wine goblets is crafted in the bold Lismore Black pattern. The classic Lismore cut is Waterford’s most famous and historic design, originally created in 1952 by chief designer Miroslav Havel, who drew inspiration from the gothic architecture and crenellations of the historic Lismore Castle in Ireland. This modern and dramatic black iteration reimagines that rich history, layering a deep, opaque black crystal bowl over the clear stems. The classic diamond and vertical wedge cuts slice through the rich black layer to reveal brilliant clear crystal beneath, creating a stunning, high-contrast silhouette.
Each goblet stands at an impressive 23.7cm tall and holds approximately 400ml, making them perfect for full-bodied red wines or adding a theatrical touch to a formal table setting.
The glasses are entirely unused, appearing in pristine condition with their original blue and gold stickers still attached to the bases. They come complete in their original blue Waterford box, which shows only some minor wear from storage.
