DESCRIPTION:
This is an original Lobby Card from the official FIFA 1970 World Cup Mexico 70 film "The World at Their Feet" featuring Pele and the Brazil team. The film was directed by Alberto Isaac and distributed by Lewis Rank Productions in Mexico.
This heavy paper stock lobby card is 16.5" x 12.5" and was intended to be hung in theater windows as advertising and then discarded. I purchased this over 15 years ago from a seller in Mexico. This is 100% original and in great conditon for 56 years old. There are no holes, rips, or tears. Corners have wear and lower left corner has a crease. There is also a light pencil number on back corner. Please take a look at the pictures and judge for yourself.
There were a number of different variations of this lobby card produced in 1970 with different pictures featured in the upper right. This version shows the Estadio Azteca in Mexico City where the 1970 World Cup Final between Brazil and Italy was played. Images inside the ball also show Pele, Johan Cruyff, and Franz Beckenbauer.
