This is a cylinder off a Yamaha YZ125 I don’t know what year it’s supposed to be a 1976 yz125c and it’s got 53700 imbossed as shown in pictures that’s all I can tell you

Measurements are shown in pictures best I can measure standard bore is 56 mm

It will need rebore and clean up

The part number should be but I’m not certain 537-11311-00

I think it’s 1976 or possibly 1975 or 1974 and possibly fits 1977 also the Yamaha MX lineup selling as part’s only and not working as I’m not sure of any of the details or history of this cylinder

It came from a old Yamaha dealer shelf

I think this cylinder might bolt onto the 100 and 175 yz’s and mx models but I’m not sure

Look at pictures no broken fins or anything I have tried to show in the pictures look close

This cylinder will be a great starting point for a restoration or a spare for your racer
