The Dial. Original matte black "feet-first" dial (660ft = 200m), correct for the period. The tritium hour plots have developed a deep, warm "pumpkin" patina — the rich orange-cream tone collectors actively seek out. The Bezel. The original-style black insert has faded naturally over five decades to a soft grey "ghost" tone. Ghost-bezel 5513s have become a look unto themselves in the vintage Rolex world — this fade cannot be faked convincingly and takes decades of honest wear and sunlight to achieve.
