is a species of cactus native to the Peruvian Andes. The Latin specific epithet subulata means "awl-like", referring to the shape of the rudimentary leaves. It is also known by its common names as Eve's pin and Eve's needle.

This is simply down to them growing in that time period.. There is sometimes a picture of a fully grown specimen , if there is a picture of a larger plant it’s purely for demonstration purposes and to show the potential of the plant you are bidding on. There is also sometimes a two pound coin in the picture, this is there to demonstrate the scale of the plant. Some of our plants will be posted bare rooted and wrapped extremely carefully as they are delicate, we pride ourselves on the quality of our packing, which is always to the highest standard to help ensure a safe delivery.
For multi plant orders Please send a message before paying for your plants and we will be able to amend the postage costs of your delivery, helping to reduce the overall cost. We only use trusted courier services, as we found this limits the potential for damage in transit, but for any reason there is an issue with your plant once it has arrived, please contact us directly and we will rectify the problem. We do offer collections.
Special large plant orders However for larger plants, if you would like plant posted in the pot with its compost please contact me first as the charge for postage will increase due the weight implications, there is also the risk of your plant being damaged in transit as the plant pot and plant are unbalanced, but we will try to accommodate your requirements.
