Fender Custom Shop 1956 Stratocaster LEFT-HAND Nos Black 2008 Sale Used Electric

The year 1956 marked a major shift in the Stratocaster's specifications, and this left-handed model of the "1956 Stratocaster," a vintage reissue proudly produced by the Fender Custom Shop, remains highly popular and a standard in production today. Based on the neck date and certificate of authenticity, this is a used instrument manufactured in 2008.

It features the familiar wood materials of an alder body, one-piece maple neck, and maple fingerboard. The neck has a 7.25-inch fingerboard radius and vintage-sized frets, with a solid, thick soft V-shape neck grip.

The controls are a 5-way switch (replaceable), master volume, front tone, and center tone, a modern, orthodox specification. With its distinctive neck grip and white 1-ply 8-hole pickguard, it perfectly captures the characteristics of the 1956 era, making it a highly refined vintage reissue model despite being over 15 years old.

This guitar has a NOS (New Old Stock) finish, but the overall appearance shows signs of heavy use, with scratches, pick marks, dents, and paint chips, mainly on the body edges. There is a crack in the pickguard at the truss rod adjustment point, but this does not affect its functionality.

The manufacturer's logo decal on the headstock has also been replaced. The frets have been leveled and are approximately 60% of their original height, but there are no significant dents, and no noticeable buzzing or dead spots.

Weight: Approximately 3.53kg (without tremolo arm)
