This auction is for a used Vintage Western Leather Headstall W/ Mounted Steel Bit - 0703262

No marking to indicate the maker of the bit and headstall

Used vintage headstall and bit - this has all the marking of being around the 1920's - headstall lengthens in the center not the sides - number on the leather is 8189 which indicates to me made by a old maker (no name) - the bit is old style of bit - previous owner thought it was a Mchesney (but no marking and the old Mcheseny had no marking ) - I did some looking that the shanks are flat and style of the old Mchesney - it is mounted with silver on the shanks - So I leave it up to you - I have not clean it up - so take a good look at the bit and headstall. 

Actual weight is 2 lb. 13.0 oz.

This is a Estate sale find.
