Collector Highlights
Crafted from fine bisque porcelain and hand-painted with exceptional attention to detail, this beautiful Storybook Doll Collection piece captures the beloved Little Red Riding Hood character in a richly detailed costume complete with her signature red hooded cape and basket accessory.
What makes this example particularly desirable is the survival of the original ownership paperwork and purchase documentation. The included Danbury Mint paperwork shows the original owner paid approximately $52 in 1988, which equates to roughly $150 in today’s dollars when adjusted for inflation.
Finding a vintage Danbury Mint doll with:
* Original Box * Original Certificate * Original Purchase Documentation * Original Storybook Literature * Original Packaging Materials
is becoming increasingly difficult as complete sets disappear into private collections.
