Offered is an aesthetically attractive and displayable positive/negative pair of unknown fruits, probably a tree species? from the famous Miocene plant beds of Erdobenye, Zemplin Mountains, Hungary

With a modified leaf acting as an aerofoil to transport fruits, when they fall from a height, away from the parent tree, and preserved in a white .mineral (apatite?) and outlined in a dark dendritic mineral (iron?), this is a very displayable item for fossil plant specialists.

Matrix pieces approx 10cm X 7cm. One half also preserves a 2.5cm highly detailed leaf of an Acer sp.
