More recent red leather covers which remain in very good condition.

Internally the pages are generally in very good condition throughout. Some age toning and marks in places with some edge tears and repairs.

With 200 vignettes on 50 plates (4 vignettes per plate). One plate seems to be missing (containing vignettes 125-128).

The six maps are loose and have varying degrees of tears and repairs - photographs of all the loose maps are shown in the photographs in this listing.

The title page to the New Testament has some loss and repairs to it.

There are some pen inscriptions at the end of the volume and some pencil annotations in the Psalms section.

A scarce, extensively illustrated, edition.
