Paul Reed Smith PRS Pauls Guitar 2014 Quilt Yellow Tiger Used Electric Guitar

A 2014 Paul's Guitar, manufactured in Maryland and bearing Paul Reed Smith's name, has arrived. It features the earliest specifications, including a Dirty Artist Grade quilted maple top, mahogany back, mahogany neck, and headstock veneer.

The pickups are 408 Narrow Neck & Brent Mason Bridge, likely a mix of names typical of the early models. It's equipped with a brass insert stop tail bridge and Phase 2 tuner pegs.

Its advanced features for its time include a mini-switch that allows individual coil tapping of each pickup, a feature foreshadowed by the later Custom 24-08. There is some paint clouding, mainly on the back of the neck, neck heel, near the backplate, and around the body perimeter.

The volume pot has been replaced, the frets have been refretted, and the strap pins have been replaced with Schaller-type pins. Overall, it's in player's condition commensurate with its age, with some scratches and dirt.

After arrival, it has been cleaned, fully adjusted, and fret leveled, and is in good playing condition. Product Rank: B+: Some scratches, but no problems for normal use.
