For sale is a lot of three vintage Volutron UV-201A / 201-A vacuum tubes with short-pin Bakelite bases. These are early radio triode tubes used in 1920s battery radio sets and related vintage radio equipment.

All three tubes were tested on a calibrated TV-7 tube tester with the following results:

Tube 1: 30
Tube 2: 33
Tube 3: 34

Minimum acceptable value for this tube type on the TV-7 chart is 18, so all three tested strong. Tubes also tested free of gas and shorts.

Cosmetically, the tubes display well with bright internal silvering/mirroring overall. One tube has a visible Volutron-201-A paper label reading “5 volts 1/4 ampere.” Top stamps are present but worn/faint. Bases appear tight. There is normal vintage wear including light scuffs, small spots, label/stamp wear, dust/soiling, and some oxidation/tarnish on the pins. One tube has darker/smokier-looking glass/silvering than the others, but it tested strong as noted above.

Includes only the three tubes shown. Please review all photos for exact cosmetic condition, markings, base style, and test labels.
