Antique sewn web baseball glove circa 1910. The web is torn along the top portion. The wrist strap is torn from the button hole to the label. The label is worn down to just threads. I was able to read the letters GUARANT... at the very edge of the label. I inquired online with a collectors group and was told that this is likely a J.C. Higgins glove. The leather is smooth and pliable, but dry. Inside of glove is in good condition with a small hole at the bottom near the lacing. Lacing is broken in one spot. A restoration project or display as is.
