WW1 Empty Memorial Scroll Tube For Robert Horne - Notts & Derby Plus Royal Warwickshire

 

Robert Horne was born 17 Jan 1893 in Radford, Nottingham. Son of Henry James Horne & Mary Elizabeth (Toft).

 

He served with the Notts & Derby Regiment (5618) in Dublin, Belgium and France. Came home injured. Transferred to the Royal Warwickshire Regiment (27361) and then returned to France, where he was KIA 2 Sep 1918.

 

I have included a transcription of one of his letter’s home. If the winning bidder wishes, then I can email them copies of all his letter’s etc. I deposited the originals at the local archives.
