Originally written in the 1960s but not fully staged for decades, this recording captures the musical performed live at the Sydmonton Festival, offering fans a rare opportunity to hear the work that launched one of musical theatre's most celebrated creative partnerships.
Based on the life of Victorian philanthropist Thomas John Barnardo, the musical tells the story of the famous humanitarian whose work transformed the lives of thousands of homeless and orphaned children.
