Walthers Life Like diesel locomotives 

Honestly I'm not quite sure what I've got here so I hope I've listed these properly. These 2 units don't fit into this box correctly and only the B unit is documented on the box so I can only assume they were not originally a pair or they came in different Styrofoam sleeves. 

 

The locomotives are in OK structurally sound condition though both have broken or bent steps and grab bars and show signs of wear. The lead unit powers up with lights and sound on my track however I cannot get them to move. (I have a very simple transformer and am not sure it's sophisticated enough for these units.) The manual I downloaded on line is considerably more detailed than my experience.
