Condition

Presented in very good antique condition.

The original binding remains firm and attractive with a tight, square text block.

The pages are exceptionally clean with only light natural age toning consistent with age.

The illustrations remain crisp and complete throughout.

The gilt page edges remain bright and attractive, greatly enhancing the overall presentation.

There is light rubbing to the corners together with small losses to the headcaps at the top of the spine, consistent with careful use over many decades.

There are no ownership inscriptions, library stamps or loose pages noted.
