This is a 40-page illustrated medical offprint titled "A Series of Pituitary Pictures: Commentaries on the Pathologic, Clinical, and Therapeutic Aspects" by Charles H. Frazier, M.D., Philadelphia. The offprint itself does not indicate the source publication; however, based on the page numbers and title, the JAMA Network website identifies it as published in Archives of Neurology & Psychiatry, Vol. 23, No. 4, April 1930.

110 × 6½ inches. 40 pages with 35 figures throughout. The offprint is bound between two thick, gray, paper-covered boards with a cloth spine. The spine bears a handwritten title, “Pituitary Syndromes,” with “Pituitary Syndromes, Frazier” written on the front board. There are some rust marks on the spine from the staples, but the binding remains sound. The boards show some marking and wear, the corners are a little rubbed, and the tail of the spine cloth is slightly frayed.

The blank preliminary and blank final pages are age toned. The first page (page 655) comes from a different offprint. The “Pituitary Pictures” offprint starts on the reverse side, at page 656, and runs through page 695, complete. The page after 695 also originates from another unrelated offprint. Both of these extraneous pages, the opening and closing text pages, have been crossed out by a previous owner. Aside from a few minor corner creases and light age toning, the contents are clean. Please see photos and explore my other listings for more vintage Neurology offprints and books.
