CHARLIE’S ANGELS METAL LUNCHBOX & PLASTIC THERMOS from Aladdin Industries 1978.  This lunchkit features characters (after Farah Fawcett had left) and scenes from the TV show of the same name.  This popular late 70’s TV shows starred three beautiful police academy-trained private detectives – Sabrina, Kris and Kelly - whose cases always seem to require that they don bikinis, evening gowns or other sexy clothing.  These gals had it all: girls dreamed of being like them – and boys dreamed of being with them.  Awesome use of color and action by the designer and artist Elmer Lehnhardt, artistic director for AL (who invented the “deep-relief 3-D embossing” featured on the main panels of this box).  He put his famous floating head portraits embossed on the front of Kate Jackson, Cheryl Ladd and Jaclyn Smith – with great action scenes on the back and rim panels.  Another classic American collectible from Elmer and Aladdin!

Condition: Box and Thermos are complete and correct (including the original wire thermos holder). Box has no blemishes to the raised areas on the main front and rear panels so typical with these vintage embossed boxes.  Side panels are also clean and glossy throughout.  Very light rim wear - with no corner dents or dimples on front and one bump in bottom left on back.  Metal hardware is nice and shiny.  Inside is also very clean - with no previous owner's markings.  Box in overall Excellent Plus C-8.5 condition.  Thermos decals are clean and glossy throughout with a few minor rubbings – also in overall Excellent plus C-8.5 condition.
