INTRODUCTION: With just 28,750 actual miles, this Buick is a true survivor that looks, feels, and functions like a practically new car. What really sets it apart is its striking combination of colors, chrome wheels, and the rare parade boot cover, all giving it a distinctive appearance unlike most cars of its era. This was Buick's last convertible for several years, an end of an era. Today if you want a four passenger convertible you have to buy a Rolls-Royce or Bentley. If you want a six passenger convertible you need to buy a 1975 Buick!

EXTERIOR: It's almost hard to believe this Buick is a survivor! The body is exceptionally straight and free of the typical garage dings, scrapes, and wear that most original cars accumulate over the years. There is no rust, and it still proudly wears its factory red paint. The finish is remarkably smooth and glossy, showing far better than you would expect from an original car. The chrome and trim are all original, bright, and shiny, right down to the Art Hauk Buick dealer emblem still mounted on the trunk lid. The bumper rub strips are in excellent condition, the original metal door edge guards remain in place, and even the chrome mirror is free of pitting. The windshield is crystal clear, and the original weatherstrips remain soft and pliable. The white convertible top is in excellent shape, and this car was ordered with the optional parade boot cover, a desirable feature documented on the build sheet. Another standout option is the factory 15-inch chrome wheels, which are wrapped in a set of wide white stripe American Classic radial tires that perfectly complement the car's elegant appearance.

INTERIOR: It is extremely impressive, especially considering it is original and this is a convertible. Most convertibles spend years exposed to sun, heat, and the extra wear and tear that comes with top down driving, but this one has been preserved remarkably well. The original white interior still looks practically new. Not only does it provide a beautiful contrast against the red exterior, but it also stays noticeably cooler on those hot summer days. The original red carpet is in outstanding condition, and when we lifted it up, we discovered two original paper build sheets still preserved underneath. The red door panels are excellent, and the entire dash area is exceptionally well maintained. Every knob, lens, vent, and trim piece is in great shape, and even the steering wheel shows virtually no wear. Features include a 6-way power seat with a fold-down center armrest, power windows, tilt steering wheel, Speed Minder, and an AM/FM stereo. This interior is a true testament to how carefully this Buick has been cared for over the years.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It is exceptionally well preserved and has clearly benefited from careful maintenance over the years. At its heart is the original 350 V8, which runs smooth and quiet just as a Buick should. It is equipped with factory air conditioning, which is working properly, along with power steering, power brakes, and cruise control. The compartment presents very well with all the details in place. The windshield washer squirters are hooked up, the horns are intact, and the hood insulation remains in place. Everything is neat, orderly, and correct, reflecting the same level of care and preservation found throughout the rest of this remarkable survivor.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It's a virtual time capsule that has been preserved in remarkable condition. The original spatter finish paint looks like it was applied yesterday and the paint under the trunk lid is just as impressive, and even the factory trunk light is still working. The jack assembly looks like it has never been used, and it still carries an original tire for a spare. The trunk mat, factory decals, and weatherstrip are all exceptionally well preserved. It's the kind of untouched originality that tells the story of this car better than any paperwork ever could.

UNDERSIDE: It is remarkably well preserved and serves as a testament to the care it has received over the past 50 years. The floors are pristine, rust-free original metal still wearing the factory applied primer in great shape, a sight rarely seen today. The suspension and steering systems have been properly maintained throughout its life, the shocks were replaced. It retains a correct exhaust system complete with catalytic converter and factory GM muffler. The fuel system is clean and functional, while the braking system operates properly with front disc brakes and a working emergency brake. The underside is so clean and dry that it still retains a paper affixed to the rear axle, tags on the springs and the fuel tank still displays its original factory ink stamp. Looking up at the engine reveals a clean, well kept powertrain with a fresh looking starter and its VIN-matching Turbo 350 automatic transmission.

SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and our reputation. Every vehicle goes through our service department where it is inspected, test driven, and we address the essentials before offering it for sale.

CONCLUSION: If I told you this is one of my favorite cars in our entire inventory, would you believe me? It's true. Out of all the cars I have to choose from, I've taken this Buick out several times, even piling all three of my grandkids into the back seat. I absolutely love it. It floats down the road, it's incredibly comfortable, and everywhere it goes it draws compliments. There really isn't anything today that can duplicate the experience of driving one of these big American luxury convertibles from the 1970s. The colors, quality and features make this one of the finest examples you'll likely ever find!
